The application period is now CLOSED for our next motorcycle (11DEC2020)
This program is ONLY for Veterans in the greater Las Vegas NV area.

Cycle Therapy

Background-Motorcycle2Those who ride know how good motorcycling is for the soul. Riding requires total focus, situational awareness, keeps your head on a swivel. When we ride, many of the things that weigh so heavily on our minds slip away for a moment, permitting us to concentrate on the riding. After the ride is over, we may find the clarity to focus on other challenges and sometimes find pathways to solutions.

This is what Wheels 4 Warriors is all about.
Matching a suitable Veteran with what s/he needs to become a motorcyclist, or help a former rider return to the sport.

To be considered for this program, candidates complete an Application, scan and send it to us. You will participate in an interview with Chapter members. If accepted, the Veteran receives Nevada-required license training, a used but serviceable dealer-certified motorcycle and protective gear. The Veteran provides the time, effort, attitude and desire to do some cycle therapy, at first with a Mentor, then with a group and finally solo.

We are now have presented our fourth motorcycle. BUT! If you know of a serviceable bike, or one that can be made serviceable with a little work, please reach out to us. Obviously, we will need your financial support to make this happen. On our Donate page, indicate that your tax-deductible gift is designated for the  Wheels 4 Warrior Project.

Sponsorship is best way to help us succeed. Please contact our Treasurer here. Thank you

Do you know a veteran in the greater Las Vegas area who could use a motorcycle to help get their head on straight?
If so, send us a message and we will reach out to them.

Please contact us if you wish more information.

W4W-#5-Adam15 August 2020.  Our 5th motorcycle was presented to a worthy local Veteran - former Army Staff Sergeant Adam Albers of Las Vegas. He served as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal technician working with all other branches of the service in an extremely dangerous job; One where either you are right or suddenly it’s not your problem anymore…
Adam deployed to Afghanistan for two tours: 2010 - 2011 and again in 2012 - 2013. During those deployments, he worked with international military services, serving with distinction and earning the Bronze Star and the Combat Action Badge.
Congratulations, Adam and Welcome Home!

On 17 November 2018 at Atomic Motors in Henderson, we presented our third W4W motorcycle to a local Veteran. We could not have done this without the support of Spartan Arms, Legal Ride, NVEnergy, Marthea Jaffee at RealtyOne Group, David Schalles and many others.  Special thanks to the Sierra Vista JROTC Color Guard.
Now on to the next Veteran/Motorcycle match!W4W2018

W4W2017BikeTank1Our 2017 W4W Bike has been presented to a local Veteran!
This is a 17-year-old Harley-Davidson that looks brand new thanks to the  incredible painting skills of Niko Symansky of CustomPaintWorkz.com in Las Vegas (702.578.3882)  He donated his time and skills to make the metal parts of the bike special. We also need to express our deep appreciation to the crew at Red Rock, in particular, H-D Tech John McGuigan for his countless hours of work, on his own time, to make the bike safe and roadworthy. Additionally, we could not have achieved our goal without our good friend and counselor, Damon Schuetz, Esq. of Legal Ride (702.369.3225), Terry Estabrook, Karen DiIullo, and especially Spartan Arms in North Las Vegas: 702.749.9600
